FOODS: MORE THAN I NEED

You have done everything, now you have a weekly cooking program, take less, waste less, eat regularly, but still your fridge or pantry is still too full? In my fridge and in my pantry, there were intact, timely food that I would not eat. This category included many types of jams, molasses, tomato paste, which I would call home-made foods.

THERE ARE SURELY SOMEONE WHO NEEDS

In this way, pack the food you have but won't eat or use. Look around your close circle first. Is there anyone around who needs or likes these foods? Your relatives, your neighbors... Give them if any. I gave foods such as tomato paste and jam to my brother and mother, who cook more food than I do in daily life. But for the part I could not give them, I followed a path like this.

I packed the jams, tomato paste and a few extra jars of molasses that I did not eat, use or consume until the expiry date. I put all of these in a large, water-proof bag without breaking. By closing the mouth of the bag; I wrote a big note on it. The note was visible from a distance, and the note contained what was inside and was capable of being eaten. Then I left this package in a convenient place so that someone who needs it can pick it up. I recommend it to you too.

If you have food that you cannot consume, what do you do about it? I would be glad if you write as a comment.

Peace be with you.
